vintage Singer 306K sewing machine

This beautiful vintage Singer 306K sewing machine was recently given to me by someone cleaning out the house of her deceased parents in law. Her mother in law was a seamstress. She bought this Singer 306K in Brussels in May 1956 for 15.450 Belgian Francs ( = 383 Euro).

I'm thrilled it's now in my own little sewing attic. Can't wait to try it out. It's attached to a wooden cabinet in which I found all original extra parts, the manual in Dutch and even the invoice from 1956. A real treasure...
