I love the European Street Team! I've been a member of this group of Etsy sellers since it was founded and it's been amazing meeting so many crafty people from all over Europe.

1. I'm a hermit. I rarely go outside, because I'm rather inside in my sewing studio...
2. I want a dog, so I would be forced to go outside every day :) I'm dreaming of buying a brown labrador and calling her Mira.
3. My husband says I snore. I won't believe it until he can show some proof!
4. I'm addicted to sewing. I really can't stop thinking about all the things I want to make.
5. I have 3 tattoos: a big one on my back, a small one on my tummy and one on my thumb (yes my THUMB!)
6. I've been wearing a thumb ring for 15 years to hide the tattoo on my thumb :)
7. I'm easily hooked on games. I've been hooked on Anno 1701, The Sims, Xplorers, ... and these days I can't stop playing Word Challenge on Facebook.

Yay! I'm the featured member on Burdastyle.com this week.

For those of you who don't know Burdastyle: it's a website for sewers from all over the world where you can download great patterns, upload your own patterns, learn new sewing tricks, post your own creations, comment on other's creations, ... In short: open source sewing at its best!


I've been a member since August 2007 and love it there. I have seen the website grow and grow with patterns and members and it keeps getting better. Check it out and tell me what you think :)

My latest creation, made in a beautiful black lace and stretch satin: a halter teddie with a brazilian cut bottom. I added rhinestones in the middle to give it an extra glam touch. For sale in my online shop.

I often get questions from women who want to know their EU-bra size. Especially in Belgium bra sizes can sometimes be confusing because we use 2 bra sizing standards. Most lingerie stores in the French part of Belgium and Brussels use the French sizes. In Flanders they mostly use the EU-sizing, like they do in the Netherlands. The difference: 15 cm... !

So for buying a bra online it's imperative to know what your bra size is in f.i. the US or France. To help you out: here's a chart with almost every bra size and its counterparts.
